How We Work Together
Virtual Funeral Professionals Peer Support Meeting in July
WHEELING, IL— A little gratitude from families goes a long way to enrich your world, but it only takes you so far. The rest of your day-to-day is shaped by your company environment: the values, behaviors, and attitudes that guide your life in the office. This month’s virtual Funeral Professionals Peer Support meeting on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 8pm ET / 7pm CT / 5pm PT provides space to share on the impact of work culture and how we contribute to that environment.
We all know that a good job is more than just a job description and a benefits package. A good job is also inspiring, open, and respectful of its employees, and staffed with good leaders and supportive colleagues. Finding our place in a culture of shared values where we’re recognized for our hard work is just as important as the job we perform. It can take some trial and error to find that fit, so how do we manage in the meantime? And how do we know what to look for?
On July 16, Funeral Professionals Peer Support US Program Director Kim Zavrotny facilitates the monthly peer support meeting to reflect on those essential intangibles at the office that make up our working environment. Whether your office helps you thrive, you’re merely surviving, or you just want to be there in support, we invite you to join in the conversation.
Connect with your fellow funeral professional peers on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 8pm ET / 7pm CT / 5pm PT via Zoom link at goCANA.org/peersupport. No registration is required, simply follow the link to join.
