Pinnacle Funeral Service Pledges $100,000 in Support of Funeral Service Foundation
Pinnacle’s gift to support area of greatest need for Foundation
Brookfield, Wis. – Funeral home acquisition and management firm, Pinnacle Funeral Service, made a generous $100,000 pledge to support the greatest needs of the Funeral Service Foundation.“The Foundation has a strong record of delivering impactful programs for the profession, said Tony Kumming, president of Pinnacle. “This gift is intended to allow them to prioritize their important work, which is centrally aligned with that of Pinnacle: lifting up grieving families and ultimately strengthening funeral service.”
Based in St. Petersburg, Florida, Pinnacle has 30 locations across central and southeastern United States. Noting the impact that changes to the funeral service profession have had over the past several years, the company thought it was necessary to underscore their commitment to the core values of the Funeral Service Foundation.
Speaking on these values as he presented a ceremonial check to the Foundation at the 2023 NFDA International Convention & Expo General Session, Kumming went one step further and made a $5,000 personal commitment to the Foundation, “I think with the programs, the scholarships, the resources they provide, it really is an investment in all of us, not just into the Foundation, but I think it really supports the entire service that we are in.”
Funeral Service Foundation Executive Director Jedd Lapid stated, “We so appreciate Pinnacle’s and Tony’s support for the Foundation and their steadfast alignment in our mission and vision. Through the general designation of their generous pledge to wherever it is needed most, Pinnacle’s commitment ensures that Foundation’s impact and outreach that will continue in these years ahead – indeed wherever it is needed most.”
