Details Matter: Are We Paying Attention?

Melissa Posey Loose Will Present WilbertEDU® Webinar

Overland Park, KS – Melissa Posey Loose, Training and Development Manager for the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) will present her webinar entitled Details Matter: Are We Paying Attention? on the WilbertEDU platform August 18 at 1:00 p.m. CDT. According to recent NFDA Consumer Awareness and Preferences surveys, the most important quality looked for when choosing a funeral director is “attention to detail.” Posey will challenge webinar attendees to ask themselves which details matter in the funeral industry, and if deathcare professionals truly provide these details at the right times – and not solely at the time-of-service delivery. She will marry trusted research and valuable resource tools to illustrate what today’s families are seeking and define when and how deathcare professionals can exceed today’s expectations to merit continued trust and confidence in the future.

Objectives for the webinar will include defining the perception-experience gap existing between deathcare professionals and the families being served, identifying opportunities to improve marketing and service protocols, providing resources for partnering families, community members, and deathcare professionals to serve planning and grief support needs, and assisting attendees in developing a new strategy for “value branding.” The WilbertEDU series is provided and hosted by Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. and is certified with the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice (APFSP) for one (1) hour of continuing education*.
