Registration Now Open For OGR’s Annual Conference
INDIANAPOLIS (February 10, 2022) – The Order of the Golden Rule (OGR)’s Annual Conference, presented by APPI Energy, returns to Indianapolis May 15 – 17, 2022.
The two-and-a-half-day event will feature sessions on industry disruption and the agility to meet it; discerning the truth about formaldehyde in an era of social media “experts” and biased news sources; a special Innovation Challenge session based around design thinking to help shape the future of independent funeral homes; and more.
“We are excited to offer the funeral profession a chance to focus on professional development away from the day-to-day pressures of the funeral home, while also reconnecting with old friends and colleagues,” said Wendy King, OGR’s executive director.
In total, the conference is expected to offer eight CEs and will also feature OGR’s annual Golden Circle Celebration awards dinner. It will immediately be followed by a Young Professionals Summit, expected to be worth another two CEs. Conference attendees get discounted registration to the YP Summit.
Both events will be held at the Hotel Carmichael on the north side of Indianapolis. OGR members and non-members alike are welcome to attend. Members get a discount on their registration fees.
