New Members Elected To The ICCFA Educational Foundation Board Of Trustees
STERLING, VA (November 11, 2021) – The Board of Trustees for the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association’s (ICCFA) Educational Foundation is pleased to announce the election of Jeff Kidwiler, CCE, CSE, and Robert Boetticher Sr. at their Board of Trustees meeting on September 9, 2021.
“Both Bob Boetticher and Jeff Kidwiler have proven track records in promoting the importance of continuing education for the deathcare profession,” said ICCFA Educational Foundation President Jim Price. “The ICCFA Educational Foundation is honored to added two such distinguished members of the profession to our Board of Trustees, and we are eager to have their support in advancing our many initiatives.”
Robert “Bob” Boetticher Sr. is a funeral director with over 55 years of experience in crafting amazing high-profile memorial services. He has planned and implemented services for Past U.S. Presidents, senators and other notable public figures. Boetticher was recognized with the prestigious ICCFA Educational Foundation’s Lasting Impact Award for his contributions to continuing education in 2020. He currently serves as president & CEO of LHT Consulting Group, LLC, and as Assistant Vice President to the Founder & Chairman Emeritus at Service Corporation International. He is the current chairman of the National Museum of Funeral History in Houston, Texas.
Jeff Kidwiler, CCE, CSE, is the current chancellor of the ICCFA University and an ICCFA past president. In his role as chancellor, he has focused on expanding and refining the education that students receive each year at ICCFA University. He has been an active member of the ICCFA for more than 20 years. Kidwiler has worked in many facets of the deathcare profession and currently serves as president of Blackstone Memorial.
The ICCFA Educational Foundation, founded in 2005, seeks to make education accessible to the future leaders of the deathcare profession. It does this by awarding scholarships to the educational programs of the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association, as well as advancing initiatives designed to promote the profession and support the individuals who answer the call of service.
Founded in 1887, the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association is the only international trade association representing all segments of the cemetery, cremation, funeral and memorialization profession. The association is comprised of more than 10,000 members in the cemetery, funeral home and crematory industries, as well as supplier and related businesses worldwide.
