ICCFA Educational Foundation Honors 2020 ICCFA University Scholarships For Recipients To Attend in 2021
STERLING, VA – After much deliberation, the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association (ICCFA) has come to the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 ICCFA University, set for July 17 – 22 at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
The decision comes as a result of ongoing public health and safety concerns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic and input from the ICCFA leadership, staff, ICCFA University Deans, public health experts, and our membership.
One hundred and eighteen students planned to attend ICCFA University on a scholarship provided by the ICCFA Educational Foundation this year. In light of the decision to cancel, the ICCFA Educational Foundation has agreed to honor scholarships awarded for 2020 at ICCFA University in 2021. We are committed to providing scholarships so that members of the deathcare profession will be able to attend critical educational opportunities such as this.
Additionally, the ICCFA Educational Foundation would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the donors who made the 2020 scholarships possible. Without their generosity, these scholarships would not be possible in the first place. A full list of our donors can be found at iccfa.com/scholarships.
ICCFA University will return next year, July 23 – 28, 2021. Visit iccfa.com/university for more information on the event as it becomes available.
