Introducing the Funeral Profession’s First ‘Technology Think Tank’

When it comes to technology, doing business like it’s 1995 (or even 2005) is not going to cut it with families.

Catch up or expand on your leading position by coming to the first-ever Technology Think Tank, featuring some of the profession’s top technology innovators. At the Think Tank, learn how to:

• Leverage your digital brand to do business with more families.

• Turn website visitors into real customers.

• Connect with more people by posting and sharing obituaries online.

• Make doing business easier and more profitable with new tools.

“We’ve known for some time how powerful technology can be in serving bereaved families,” says Thomas Parmalee, executive director of Kates-Boylston Publications, which is coordinating the Think Tank. “The coronavirus crisis has made it even clearer just why technology is so essential – and our experts will help attendees incorporate technology in everything they do.”

Speakers at the Think Tank include:

Luke Frieberg, president of eFuneral Solutions, who will explore how to leverage your digital

  brand to get leads.

Lori Salberg, director of technology solutions at Johnson Consulting Group, who will focus

on how to conduct surveys – and the ways they generate an incredible return on investment.

Welton Hong, a secret seven-figure weapon to the nation’s top funeral homes and combination

operations –  as well as the founder of Ring Ring Marketing – will highlight the power of

   Yelp, Google, Zoom and Facebook.

John Heald, senior vice president of channel development at Legacy.com, will highlight how

obituaries can be the most powerful tool in your online toolkit.

Jeff Parker, chief technology officer at Park Lawn Corp., will explore ways to enhance the

  death-care experience with technology.

The Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice has approved the Technology Think Tank for 5 hours of continuing education.

Guests can enjoy a special $144 per night room rate at the hotel.

The Technology Think Tank, which is sponsored by eFuneral, Ring Ring Marketing, Park Lawn Corp. Homesteaders Life Company and Legacy.com, costs just $495 when you register before July 31.
