NFDA Wins Top Award in Association TRENDS 2018 All-Media Contest
Brookfield, Wis. – For its video For all that you do… thank you, the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) was honored with the Pinnacle Award in Association TRENDS’ 2018 All-Media Contest. The Pinnacle Award is the top honor across all categories in the All-Media Contest. NFDA’s video, for which it also earned the Gold Award in the “CD, Video, Podcast or PSA” category, was one of nearly 300 entries.
The video For all that you do… thank you was initially shown during the opening general session of the 2018 NFDA International Convention & Expo. It features a collage of images from films submitted as part of the RememberingALife.com Film Contest that NFDA sponsored last year. As the images appear, a voice offers words of thanks to funeral professionals: “We lean on you to help us remember … to help us celebrate. You help us create a meaningful funeral. Thank you for being there … for being with us … for caring.” The video can be viewed at www.nfda.org/thankyou.
“The work our members do every day for grieving families is a continual source of inspiration for me and the NFDA staff,” said NFDA CEO Christine Pepper, CAE. “While we are thrilled to have won this award, it is even more gratifying to honor funeral directors in a unique and poignant way.”
NFDA partnered with CI Design, a creative agency based in Milwaukee, Wis., to develop For all that you do… thank you.
The Association TRENDS All-Media Contest is an annual competition held exclusively for associations, recognizing the most creative and effective communication vehicles developed in the industry over the prior year.
