Pinnacle Funeral Service acquires Two Wisconsin Funeral Groups
West Bend, Oshkosh and Omro, WI – Pinnacle Funeral Service is proud to announce its recent acquisition of Phillip Funeral Homes, Seefeld Funeral Home, Kwiatkowski Funeral Home and Fox Cities Funeral and Cremation Services.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have these businesses join our growing group of Wisconsin funeral homes,” said Paul Haarer, CEO of Pinnacle. “Former owners Jim and Ann Phillip, both funeral directors, have grown their businesses to be one of the most respected businesses north of Milwaukee. Not to be outdone, two other former owners and funeral directors, Steve and Denise Kwiatkowski, have similarly built a group in the Oshkosh area. These acquisitions allow Pinnacle to expand our footprint from the greater Milwaukee up to through the Fox Valley. We now have 10 locations across the state and can provide more opportunities and growth for our team members who work with our firms.”
“This is a very exciting time,” added Steve Kwiatkowski. “Denise and I look forward to working with Pinnacle’s group plus getting some much needed vacation time. We were very concerned with making sure our successor was going to be good to the families we’ve served. We have already seen this, and have been extremely happy with Paul and his team and, as they have kept their commitment to put families first.”
The acquisition expands Pinnacle Funeral Service’s presence in the state of Wisconsin, making it the largest operator in the state. Pinnacle, a regional operator, is committed to providing retiring owners an alternative to selling to a large public or a venture backed company.
