A funeral home director is being accused of taking a selfie while a casket was being loaded into a hearse, KTRK reports.

Rose Molina told the Houston TV station that she and her family buried a 32-year-old family member on Saturday. With the casket in the hearse behind him, she says, the funeral director, David L. Jones, appeared to take a selfie.

Molina told KTRK that she confronted Jones and he told her he was fixing his tie. Molina then found Jones on Facebook and saw that his feed was flooded with selfies in front of hearses and caskets.

According to KTRK, Joaquin Leal, owner of Leal Funeral Home in Jacinto City, said Jones is an independent contractor.

According to the Texas Funeral Service Commission, Jones is a licensed funeral director and has no complaints so far. If a complaint is filed in this instance and it is found to be a violation of conduct, Jones could receive a warning or a fine of up to $5,000, according to KTRK.
