Aurora to Offer Factory Tours for NFDA Convention Attendees

Thursday, August 13, 2015 – AURORA, IN – With the largest event in funeral service just a short drive away, Aurora Casket Company is offering a unique immersion experience to attendees of the 134th Annual National Funeral Directors Convention and Exposition in Indianapolis.

On Wednesday, October 21, Aurora will offer complimentary roundtrip transportation to its headquarters location to provide tours of its manufacturing facility and Solutions Showroom. The deluxe motor-coach will depart Indianapolis at 11 a.m., arrive in Aurora at about 1 p.m., and return to Indianapolis before 5 p.m. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

“We are delighted to offer this opportunity to tour our national headquarters. In the past three years, Aurora has implemented significant capital improvements to our factories and we’ve re-designed our Solutions Showroom to feature all of the new business-building solutions and innovative product offerings that Aurora provides its customers. So if funeral directors visited our factory more than three years ago, they will be amazed at all of the enhancements that have transformed our flagship manufacturing facility and our business,” said Michael Quinn, President and CEO of Aurora.

“With NFDA coming to Indianapolis, in our home state, we will roll out the red carpet and invite all funeral professionals who want to visit our facilities,” Quinn added. “In addition to being a fun excursion, it’s an opportunity to learn more about how caskets are designed and manufactured and how funeral professionals can help families create healing moments by providing more product options and by using the latest technology in planning meaningful life celebrations.”

While the event is free to NFDA attendees, registration is required to ensure your spot on the tour. Register today at http://nfdatour.auroraadvantage.com/ or call Aurora Answers at 800-457-1111 to register by phone.
