Batesville Joins with NFDA in Supporting Comfort Zone Camp
As funeral professionals head to Texas for the National Funeral Directors Association convention and expo next week, they’ll have the opportunity to support Comfort Zone Camp, a bereavement organization that’s making a difference in the lives of thousands of children across the country.
The death of a parent, brother or sister happens to more than 2.5 million children in our country. Comfort Zone Camp transforms the lives of children by providing a place where children can come together and get the tools they need to help them cope with grief in their daily lives.
NFDA will be conducting a variety of fundraising efforts throughout the convention week to support Comfort Zone Camp. Batesville is joining the effort by making a donation for every drink purchased at the NFDA Welcome Reception on Sunday night at the Texas Memorial Stadium. Already a co-sponsor of the event, the company wanted to do something extra to raise awareness and money for an organization that shares its commitment to helping families after the death of a loved one.
“Funeral professionals understand the difficulties children and families face when a child loses a parent or sibling,” explains Troy Turner, Chief Marketing Officer for Batesville. “We’re very proud to join NFDA in supporting Comfort Zone Camp. There’s not a better place, or group of people to partner with in raising money for this important cause.”
