With 2011 almost in the bag we want to thank all of our 15,000 readers for supporting our daily funeral industry publication. At the beginning of 2011 we had 8,500 readers, and we almost doubled that this year.

With 2012 on the horizon we are making some predictions for what we think we will see unfold in the funeral profession next year. What types of funeral businesses will we see pop up? Who is going to win the casket battle? Is social media marketing really a good option for funeral homes?

Ryan Thogmartin is deathcare’s most disruptive voice. The guy who turned a historically silent profession into a content-driven, culture-shaping, conversation-dominating landscape. As the CEO of DISRUPT Media, the largest and most creative agency in funeral service, Ryan has spent over a decade helping funeral companies win attention, build brand authority, and grow call volume with bold creative that actually converts. He’s also the founder and publisher of ConnectingDirectors.com, the largest and most influential publication in deathcare, reaching more funeral professionals every month than any other platform in the profession’s history.
