Forethought Federal Savings Bank is now ClearPoint Federal Bank & Trust

BATESVILLE, Indiana, January 7, 2014 – Forethought Federal Savings Bank (FFSB), a federally chartered savings bank dedicated to the funeral and cemetery industry, today announced it is changing its name.  The Forethought Federal Savings Bank brand is being retired effective immediately and the Bank will begin doing business as ClearPoint Federal Bank & Trust.

“Now is the perfect time for us to establish our own identity outside of the Forethought brand.  Although we’ve been independently owned and operated since 2007, the recently completed acquisition of Forethought Financial Group, Inc. by Global Atlantic Financial Group Limited, opened the door for us to make this move.  We’re excited about our new brand and are working hard to ensure a seamless transition for our customers,” said George Junker, President of ClearPoint Federal Bank & Trust.  “We continue to focus on providing innovative products and services for our customers in the funeral and cemetery industry.”

ClearPoint Federal continues to operate with the same experienced management team and support staff in the same locations in Batesville, Indiana and Houston, Texas.  Please visit the new website and customer portal at www.clearpointfederal.com for additional information.
