Funeral Directors Life Insurance Company Endorsed by the West Virginia Funeral Directors Association
Abilene, TX—Funeral Directors Life Insurance Company (FDLIC) is pleased to announce its endorsement by the West Virginia Funeral Directors Association (WVFDA) as a preferred provider of life insurance policies and annuities for prearranged funerals.
The WVFDA is an association representing professional funeral service practitioners of West Virginia. Their mission is to serve their members and the public by furthering the profession of funeral service through enhanced educational opportunity, involvement in public and private areas, and development of communications with its membership and all involved with the profession.
“We began talking with FDLIC and getting to know the company and the people behind it. We felt comfortable, like this was the right move,” said Rob Kimes, Executive Director of the West Virginia FDA.
“The company was attractive because it was begun by funeral directors,” Rob continued. “They know what the funeral industry and what the funeral profession is looking for in an insurance provider. And I think our goals are well-aligned. There are a lot of similarities in our two groups.”
“We at FDLIC are very honored to be endorsed as a preneed provider by the WVFDA,” said Kris Seale, President and CEO of FDLIC. “Like the WVFDA, we seek to provide excellent service and support to funeral directors and families alike. It is an honor to work with an organization like the WVFDA with a similar vision, goal, and purpose.”
FDLIC, rated A- (Excellent) by A.M. Best Company, is a legal reserve life insurance company which specializes in the sale of insurance-funded preneed funerals. FDLIC has been named to the 2011 and 2012 Ward’s Top 50 List of life/health insurance companies domiciled in the United States.
