Social Media In Funeral Service, Is it Just a Fad?

I had the great opportunity to give a presentation in June to the Independent Funeral Directors of Florida. The convention was very well attended and the response to my presentation was great.

I talked to them about social media in funeral service and how the numbers show that social media is not a fad, but a revolution that needs to be embraced by funeral homes in our industry. Those who don’t will be left behind. The consumer is spending more time on social networks, and it is my opinion (and others agree), that social media will soon become what we refer to now as “Media”. It will replace TV, and Print media.

I invite you to follow the link below to watch my presentation. I show a great eye opening video at the 14 minute mark so make sure you watch!
