Precoa, a national provider of preneed sales and marketing services, has been named a Top Workplace by The Oregonian and OregonLive for the 15th consecutive year. Precoa is one of only two companies to receive the honor every year since the recognition program began.

Administered annually by research firm Energage, the Top Workplaces award surveys thousands of Oregon workers regarding job satisfaction and ranks regional employers based on employee feedback.

“Everything that makes Precoa special starts with our people,” said Michael Hornibrook, Precoa CEO. “They’re the ones who bring our culture to life, push us to keep getting better, and show up for families and our funeral home partners with genuine kindness and care. Every one of these awards belongs to them.”

Operational Milestones and Company Culture

Through Precoa Pro, the flagship implementation of its ProActive Model, Precoa helps families arrange meaningful funerals before the time of need. The company recently reached a major milestone by helping prearrange services for more than one million families, supporting its overall vision to expand advance funeral planning nationwide.

The company credits its operational performance to Precoa Life, a culture model based on the core principle that people are the primary purpose. The framework is built on three core values: acting in kindness, pursuing continuous growth, and delivering results-focused craftsmanship.

“A thriving culture starts with the everyday choices people make, and over time those choices add up to a place where people are excited to connect and grow,” said Michelle Reyna, senior director of People Operations. “For fifteen consecutive years, this award is still a reflection of just how much our people care about what they do and about one another.”
