Decision Follows Successful Market Testing and Strong Community Response

FRISCO, TX, March 2, 2026 – Anthem Partners, a premier operator of funeral homes and cemeteries across North America, announced today that it will expand its partnership with Chptr across all Anthem locations in the US after completing a series of successful pilot programs and an extensive diligence process. Chptr, a leading digital memorial platform, provides families with personalized storytelling tools, including custom video tributes, service listings, and digital death notices broadcast on trusted local news stations.

Anthem initially introduced Chptr in select test markets to evaluate family response, operational fit, and community impact. After months of careful review—and overwhelmingly positive feedback from the families and communities served—Anthem has decided to offer Chptr’s Tribute Spotlights and digital memorial tools across its entire US network.

“This is not a decision we take lightly,” said Chad Jackson, Executive VP of Operations at Anthem Partners. “We tested Chptr in a handful of markets to ensure it truly met the needs of the families we serve. The response was extraordinary. Families told us these digital memorials helped them feel seen, supported, and connected in ways traditional notices no longer can. After substantial diligence, we are confident this offering will bless our communities, and we are proud to make it available in every Anthem location in the US.”

Chptr’s platform enables funeral professionals to deliver beautifully branded memorial videos and digital death notices that can be shared across social media, local news websites, and broadcast television. By blending storytelling, video, and community engagement, Chptr extends the reach of each service and helps bring people together in remembrance. The platform also reduces the time and cost historically associated with obituary writing and slideshow creation.

“This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to bring ease and comfort to families during difficult times,” Jackson added. “Chptr enhances the digital transformation underway across our network and provides a meaningful, lasting way for families to honor their loved ones.”

Rehan Choudhry, Founder and CEO of Chptr, expressed his appreciation for Anthem’s thoughtful approach: “Anthem Partners took the time to test this offering, listen to families, and ensure it aligned with their values. Their diligence reflects a deep commitment to compassionate innovation. We are honored to support their mission and to help bring Tribute Spotlights to every community they serve.”

“This expansion is a natural extension of our mission to innovate the funeral profession and meet the ever-changing needs of families,” added Will Andrews, President, Anthem Partners – US. “Chptr will help Anthem Partners locations deliver a personalized, enduring tribute to every life we are privileged to honor.”
