BATESVILLE, Ind., July 25, 2024 – Batesville, a leading provider of death care solutions in North America, joins the National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association (NFDMA) in celebrating its 100th anniversary at the 2024 NFDMA Convention and Exposition, August 3-7 at the Gaylord Hotel in National Harbor, Maryland. The company will display a collection of burial and cremation products and leading-edge technology solutions that meet the needs of today’s families and prepare funeral and cemetery professionals to serve the next generation.

“Over the past 100 years, NFDMA has provided educational support and leadership to thousands of funeral professionals, helping to develop and maintain high standards of service for its members,” said Jenn Parvin, SVP & Chief Marketing Officer of Batesville. “As longstanding partners and supporters, we are excited to be on hand to celebrate this incredible milestone and usher in a new century of service.”

A strong advocate for professional development, Batesville is proud to sponsor the featured presentation, “Justice in Service: Navigating the Victims of Crime Act for Funeral Service Professionals,” by Kristina Rose, Director, Office for Victims of Crime, at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). Rose oversees programs and services that support crime victims and survivors. She will provide practical strategies to help funeral professionals understand the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA), DOJ guidelines and learn how to provide compassionate care while upholding the principles of justice. This educational session is Monday, August 5, from 2 – 4 pm.

Meaningful choices for families

Funeral service has changed dramatically over the last century, but Batesville’s mission of            helping families honor the lives of those they love® is stronger than ever. In 2024, the company was named one of the Most Trustworthy Companies in America by Newsweek and Statista Inc. A recognized leader in personalization, Batesville will spotlight products and solutions that give families choices in how they personalize, memorialize and honor their loved ones – regardless of disposition, physical size or financial means.

Whether it is the entry-level NewPointe® Artemis oversize casket with its optional personalization kit, the distinguished military-themed interior on the N01 Neopolitan 18 ga. or the hand-rubbed finish on the Beckham 27 cherry rental casket with Batesville’s exclusive Sureview™ rental insert, there are a myriad of ways to tell a loved one’s story.

Visit Batesville at booth 237 to explore these new offerings and learn how they can help drive higher satisfaction and profits.

NewPointe Artemis Grey: The latest addition to our expansive Dimensions® oversize casket line, the Artemis delivers high eye appeal and quality at an entry-level price. Constructed of 20-gauge steel, caskets are available in 28” and 32” options in grey and copper finishes.

N01 Neopolitan Blue®: From its rich blue exterior finish to the blue flame velvet interior and embroidered appliqué representing the U.S. military, this 18-gauge casket is a fitting tribute to a life of service.

Beckham 27 Rental Casket: Our 27” cherry rental casket features a beautiful high gloss, hand-rubbed finish, reinforced stabilizer bars and a fold-down end for easy insertion and removal of inserts.

Sureview Rental Insert: Complementing its velvet interior, the Sureview1 has six-layer reinforced corrugated cardboard construction for added strength and structural integrity with a leak-resistant tray for added peace of mind.

With nearly 60% of families in the U.S. now choosing cremation, Batesville has accelerated its investment in new solutions, adding close to 100 new urns, cremation containers, keepsakes, and remembrance jewelry over the last year. More than two dozen of these new products, in a variety of designs, materials and different price points, will be featured at NFDMA.
