I work for an SCI firm in Southeast Tennessee; we do about 1100 calls a year, with four locations here. They hired me a couple of months before I began mortuary college, with the promise of an Apprenticeship and permanent job if they were pleased with me. Now, almost exactly four years later, I am licensed and serving as a Primary Arranger. I am very pleased with where I am and who I work for. The local firm has been very good to me, as has SCI. Our focus is on FAMILIES. That has been drilled into me since day ONE, working in our central care center during those school days. Am 100 % pleased? No, but what perfect situation is there? I have had very good experiences and am happy to be with SCI. I have favorable hours and benefits; I am valued and supported in serving my families well.
