Executive Promotions Announced at National Guardian Life Insurance Company
Madison, Wis. (July 18, 2024) – National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL) is pleased to announce the promotions of Cameron Black to Senior Vice President, Preneed Sales and Business Development and Andrea Rouleau to Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary.
Cameron Black, Senior Vice President, Preneed Sales and Business Development
Since joining NGL in January 2019, Black has strengthened partner relationships while strategically identifying and growing certain markets. With more than 16 years of experience in the insurance industry, Black is dedicated to listening and understanding the needs of partners and funeral professionals. He is focused on providing the expertise, leadership and resources needed to best serve families.

Andrea Rouleau, Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary
Rouleau joined NGL in 2011 and has 20 years of insurance experience that includes pricing, product development, in force management, agent management, sales distribution and marketing for a variety of life, annuity and health products.
“I look forward to optimizing our actuarial team’s capabilities by aligning all aspects of our work to ensure NGL continues to offer best-in-class products, technology, and financial stability,” said Rouleau.
In her new role, Rouleau will be responsible for valuation, as well as product pricing, assumption setting and experience studies. Rouleau and her team will also manage NGL’s value of new business calculation, along with embedded value determination.
Rouleau has worked with all departments and organizational levels throughout her tenure at NGL. From collaborating with front line team members to sales to senior leadership, Rouleau brings a unique experience and perspective to NGL’s Executive Leadership Team.
“Andrea is a strategic thinker with actuarial expertise and sales insights which will be a welcomed addition to our strong Executive Leadership Team.
