Selected Independent Funeral Homes’ Educational Trust Announces New Executive Director
LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. — December 8, 2023 — The Selected Independent Funeral Homes Educational Trust has announced the appointment of Stefanie Favia as its Executive Director, effective immediately.
Stefanie has served as the Senior Director of Development for the Selected Educational Trust since October of 2021 and has guided the organization through a period of positive growth and development.
“Stefanie is a tremendous asset not only to the Educational Trust but to all of Selected,” said Rob Paterkiewicz, Administrative Trustee for the Educational Trust. “She has earned this advancement through her care, dedication and ability to plan and execute for the betterment of the entire organization.”
Stefanie has a lengthy history within Selected Independent Funeral Homes and the Selected Educational Trust and has served in a number of managerial and support capacities during her ten-year history on the staff team. As Executive Director, she will direct all aspects of the Trust outreach, events and activities and will continue to work closely with the Board of Trustees for the advancement of the Educational Trust and its mission to provide the best educational opportunities for the advancement and support of all who work within the independent funeral service profession.
