Rollings Funeral Service Honored with Commendation from Georgia Governor
PEACHTREE CITY, GA — Rollings Funeral Service is excited to announce their recent receipt of a commendation from Georgia Governor Brian Kemp in recognition of their 20 years of service. The commendation was presented to Greg and Debbie Rollings at their Annual Managers’ Meeting in August.
The honor came as a surprise to CEO of Rollings Funeral Service Greg Rollings and his wife Debbie. “Debbie and I had no idea this was in the works for our company. Needless to say, it’s one of the biggest honors of my entire career and is a firm testament to the team I have working with me and the dedication we have all had to this company for the past 20 years,” said Rollings. “I truly can’t thank everyone enough for the hard work in helping Debbie and I get Rollings Funeral Service to where it is today and to have that recognized by our governor is just incredible,” Rollings also noted.
At the time of its presentation, Governor Brian Kemp commended Rollings Funeral Service for building the company over the past 20 years to include over 74 funeral homes, 11 independent crematories, and four cemeteries that span 16 states and employ over 600 people. The commendation was a collaboration between the leadership team at Rollings Funeral Service and the office of Governor Brian Kemp to celebrate Greg and Debbie’s success since their first funeral home addition in 2002. The commendation was presented to the Rollings family by James Mullikin, a regional manager with Rollings Funeral Service, at their Annual Managers’ Meeting Awards Banquet.
