The Domani Group Unveils a New Aftercare & Grief Therapy Service: Domani for Grief and Loss

Orem, Utah – The Domani Group is excited to announce the launch of Domani for Grief and Loss, an online grief support platform dedicated to connecting grieving individuals with qualified therapists and providing free online grief courses.

Domani for Grief is included as a Domanicare service — it will be presented to families through Domanicare text messaging as an option for grief support.

Jon Lefrandt, CEO of The Domani Group, created Domani for Grief as a result of losing his father to brain cancer ten years ago. During the stress of that traumatic event, Jon was lost and confused at where to turn for help. It took five years for him to seek help from a professional grief therapist.

Jon expressed his personal conviction that Domani for Grief will be an enormous asset to those struggling from the loss of a loved one: “Grief might be something that you think is rare or that passes quickly — that’s actually not the case at all. There are 13 million people struggling with grief annually in the United States. If you don’t get the kind of help and support that you need, grief can last for many years… that’s where Domani for Grief comes into play.”

If needed, individuals may sign up to receive a free therapy session with a Domani-certified grief therapist. The first therapy session is provided to the family for free by the funeral home as a part of a Domanicare subscription. Individuals and families can also benefit from the dozens of free online grief courses and 24/7 message-based grief coaching.
