Capsule Urn Selected For Product Placement in New Film

THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA – an upcoming film directed by Bill Purple that was recently featured at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival. Two major motion picture movie stars, Jessica Biel and Jason Sudeikis star in this film with roles of husband and wife. The entry to the plot of the movie revolves around Jessica Biel’s character, Penny, who has an unfortunate fate of death. Karen Kemmerle from Tribecafilm.com writes, “After the accidental death of his free-spirited pregnant wife, Penny (a luminous Jessica Biel), reserved architect Henry (Jason Sudeikis) struggles to find meaning in his life and in the work that once consumed him.”

Daniel Engelke from The Upcoming says, “A death in the family is one of the oldest archetypes in the field of arts and entertainment. Countless works have discussed the myriad feelings and actions associated with the aftermath of a lost loved one. While it’s a well-established mainstream genre, death has not only been used as a medium by Hollywood – in Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, which chronicles two strangers’ grief after the loss of family members, independent film embraces the paradigm.” (www.theupcoming.co.uk)

Capsule chose to allow their product to be included in the film because they believe it will raise awareness of their modern memorials and the meaning they can offer to families who have lost a loved one. Joyce Chua, Capsule Urn Creative Director comments, “We are honored to be selected by such a well-considered film. Capsule Urn shares the contemporary design ethic with the film’s director and production design team.”
