When Andrea’s father died before her wedding, her brother stepped up to give her a surprise at her reception.

Nick recorded the song Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle for Andrea and her family filled in on the father-daughter dance. The video of the thoughtful gesture has gone viral online since July.

Our Wedding in Mom’s Hospice Room

On March 23, 2013, we decided to move up our wedding date to the following day so that Mom could be there. With less than a day’s notice, plans were underway. The wonderful hospice chaplain agreed to perform the service for us. We bought our wedding clothes just before the mall in Mom’s town closed for the night. Mom’s friends decorated her hospice room with wedding flowers and candles.

On the morning of April 3, Mom passed away peacefully. As a thank you to hospice for taking such great care of Mom and so many other patients and families, we’re requesting donations be made in Mom’s honor to Four Seasons Hospice through our memorial website: www.deneenfendig.com
