Cemetery Gets Nailed By Hurricane Sandy

Powerful Sandy pushes coffins out of graves in Maryland cemetery

We wish this were a scene created just for Halloween, but sadly, it’s real. Megastorm Sandy even disturbed those trying to rest in peace, unleashing such a torrent of water that coffins in a Maryland cemetery were spotted rising from the earth. The image shown above is from a Crisfield graveyard, where the ground became so swollen that gravestones were heaved aside and coffins surfaced for air instead of staying 6 feet under. Unfortunately, it looks like some families will have to bury their loved ones again, thanks to this unforgiving Frankenstorm. [Source]
