Here’s the deal: you have to realize that you live in an area where “dressing up” probably means wearing an American Eagle polo and khaki shorts. Honestly, you’re lucky they didn’t pull up in sweatpants and heydudes. I would say count yourself as lucky and just require ties at any event you don’t want to be a redneck spectacle.
