The tone I’ve always felt was if you don’t put your prices online your made to feel that your cheating the consumer. I look at other industries such as your doctor, hospital, mechanic, plumber, home construction pretty much a plethora of industries and other establishments that normally don’t post prices online or are even required to give you a breakdown where your costs go to. The public perception of them tends to be the far more forgiving even when stories of gross misconduct and fraud crop up. The trouble is making yourself too transparent leads to people making assumptions about you instead of calling and asking a question and connecting with you directly.
