Mortuary Lift Company introduces the Ceiling-less Gantry System – a lightweight, portable lift that eliminates the need for ceiling installation. This “go anywhere” gantry brings convenience, increased productivity and a morale boost to funeral homes.
Ideal for those who don’t own their building, are uncertain of their ceiling construction or possibly planning a move, the ceiling-less gantry system is adaptable to meet a funeral home’s specific needs and allows for the creation of the increasingly important “No Lifting Zones.”
The lift brings convenience to every lifting center within a funeral home, such as in and out of shipping trays, dressing bodies, lifting caskets, top or bottom drawer cooler placement and more. “Depending on the gantry size and dimensions of the doorway, the gantry can be moved from room to room,” explains Katie Hill, a third-generation licensed funeral director and owner/president of Mortuary Lift. “In addition to the convenience and practicality, funeral homes appreciate the cost-savings that result when installation is eliminated.”
Characteristics of the Ceiling-less Gantry System:
- Lightweight: made from lightweight extruded aluminum track and easily lifted by one person
- Adjustable span and height: a single ergonomic lifting solution for low headroom areas and wider lift range in other areas
- Collapsible: simple set up and breakdown for easy storage when not in use
- Capacity: 1000 pounds
