In recent emails to the President of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association, John Cascio, the following question was asked:

Many are asking about donations. Please advise to as where these can be made-and to who. We do not want to over-whelm: We just need direction.

In a short reply John issued the following:

We are dealing with the children first and we too have been putting together a fund for the victims.  I will be in touch.

Respectfully, John Cascio

It has come to our attention that numerous companies and funeral directors are donating their time, product and services to the funeral homes and families affected by this tragedy.

If your company has donated product, supplies, services or time please email us a press release so we can let the funeral profession know what is being done.

Currently we have a received an official press release from Wilbert, who is donating all Wilbert product needed (Vaults, Urns, Urn Vaults, Youth Vaults) as well as graveside services.

    Ryan,

We will be issuing a press release tomorrow on behalf of Matthews, Frontrunner and their partners who have donated all the caskets and made sizeable donations.
Thank you for letting everyone know about Wilbert’s generosity.
This is my backyard & it has been an incredibly sad time, so all these efforts makes me so proud to be a part of this profession.
    Sincerely,
    Nancy Burban
