Ryan a lot of our profession’s self styled gurus are pyromaniacs in disguise. You are not one of these. you are the real deal. stay the course. hmmm I wonder which one I am.
I am pleased you will continue. I may not read everyday, but i always check the headline story with interest. It is clear that everyone in funeral service knows big change is under way. Most folks i meet, however, remind me of the proverbial “deer in the headlights.” Your proactive thinking approach is most welcome.
Awesome! We are so stoked that you are here to stay and that you will continue to provide great a resource. Being relatively new to this industry, I find this site to be very informative! Thank you Ryan!
Edit: I also re-edited my comment from your original post the other day. I misinterpreted the underlying reasoning behind your post, and my response wasn’t entirely the appropriate response.
Greetings from California –
I for one am beyond happy that Connecting Directors is not going anywhere! Over the last 5 years, I have learned a lot from this site, and from you. Thank you for all that you do, and keep up the great work.
Ryan
I just returned from the Texas Funeral Director Association convention held in Corpus Christi Texas.
One of our speakers was Chuck Gallagher. He posted on this site that he was going t speak at TFDA Convention. I met him later that day and told him I had seen his post here… he was very happy that people are connecting in this way…
Many of your advertisers were exhibiting at the convention and i spoke with each one letting them know that i had seen their ads on this site, which I read daily… just like the daily newsletter from ComputerWorld and Houston Chronicle.
Be Well…

I am glad we have all taken a stand to encourqge you and your team to STAND, Don’t move, your site is informational, enlightening and very educational. So, like many am pleased to be able to receive daily posting.

I’m sorry to say Ryan that you undermined your credibility with me. So going forward I’m likely to pay less and less attention under the assumption that one of these days you’re going to get fed up and close up shop anyway.
You might out grow the shadow you’ve cast over this project, but don’t expect it to go away over night.
BT this is mean spirited and meaningless. What’s your point? Ryan has brought a daily feed to all of us that is helping overcome the isolation a lot of guys experience.
Do whatever you need to do. If that means pulling the plug, just be it. Good luck!
Encouraging to hear that your following is supportive and that so many find value in your work – looking forward to seeing you at WPFDA on June 19

You provide a great service to the industry, Ryan! Keep up the good work.
So glad you aren’t shutting down. Looking forward to your speaking engagement with us in NC and SC in August.
