TribuCast Receives a “Keeping It Personal” Award
STERLING, VA — TribuCast®, headquartered in Wilton, Connecticut, has won Honorable Mention in the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association’s 2020 Keeping It Personal (KIP) Awards, recognizing the best in personalization in the cemetery, funeral service and cremation profession.
Created by the ICCFA Personalization Committee, the KIP program honors recipients in three categories. TribuCast®, received Honorable Mention in the Most Innovative Personalized Product category.
The ICCFA’s 2020 KIP Awards contest attracted entries from Australia, Brazil, and the United States. Professionals from outside the cemetery and funeral service profession performed the judging.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, TribuCast® further innovated its product to meet clients’ needs both for the present as well as the future. The TribuCast® Remote Attendance System™ creates a private online environment that closely matches the in-person experience of attending a funeral. Thanks to new technology, the platform has the capacity to enable clergy, eulogists, and even musicians to contribute to the service from a variety of locations by using special effects including split-screen, screen-share, and more. Using TribuCast® helps all loved ones grieve more effectively by including those who can’t be there in person and by creating a highly personalized enduring tribute to the life that was lost. Through its easy-to-use live stream technology and interactive touchpoints, TribuCast® helps share family history and fond memories and puts the life that was lost into greater context for both in-person and remote attendees.
All KIP Awards recipients will be featured in future issues of Memento Mori, the ICCFA’s official publication. The 2020 KIP winners and honorable mentions were featured in the Meeting of the Members at the 2021 ICCFA Virtual Convention & Exposition, on May 17, 2021. The ICCFA congratulates this year’s winners for their commitment to honoring the life stories of the families they serve. More information on the winners is available on the ICCFA website at www.iccfa.com/kip.
