Funeral Gal Launches New Perspective on Funeral Industry Business Practices
Danielle Thacker is taking her knowledge and expertise to blog world with, “The Funeral Gal.” The blog, a small business blog with a funeral focus, aims to create a new perspective on how funeral professionals will continue to provide families value despite changing consumer demands and business challenges.
Danielle is a member of the 3rd generation of Thacker’s that have served the funeral industry for over seven decades. In 2007, Danielle graduated from Villanova University as a Marketing, Management Information Systems double major. Her education from Villanova, eight years’ experience in working for her family business, and exposure to hundreds of funeral homes on an annual basis have led to the creation of the blog.
“Approaching the industry from a younger, female and true small business perspective, my goal is to create a new voice within the funeral industry. Ideally this will provide funeral professionals progressive ideas to reach their communities and manage their businesses.”
The Funeral Gal will provide readers with business advice from not only Thacker, but also guest bloggers from both within and outside the industry. The blog is intended to create awareness and offer genuine business advice for those funeral professionals that want to change, adapt and evolve their businesses.
