The Cremation Logs: CANA Launches Blog
There’s a new place online where cremation experts share their take on the latest news and trends—and offer up some creative advice—The Cremation Logs [http://www.cremationassociation.org/blogpost/776820/The-Cremation-Logs]. As the leading authority on all aspects of cremation, CANA is eager to enable free and easy access to valuable information that strengthens the industry and promotes best practices. The Cremation Logs blog is the association’s latest project to further those goals.
Inspiration for the blog posts is sparked by the wide range of CANA’s ongoing activities. Whether derived from a Cremation Symposium workshop, distilled from an article in CANA’s quarterly member magazine, The Cremationist, or inspired by a presentation at the Annual Cremation Innovation Convention, the CANA blog is an excellent way for industry professionals to sample content that is usually reserved for the exclusive use of CANA’s members or those who are present at an in-person event.
The blog is certain to entertain and enlighten because CANA has access to the best and brightest folks working in the industry. Visit the blog today and you can get Bob Boetticher, Jr.’s take on the value of using stats to guide your business decisions, family interview tips from Justin Baxley, a real-life cautionary tale about how to prepare for the perils of zoning hearings, or participants’ observations from a celebrant training program, among other stories. You’re bound to find a few pithy nuggets of information that will stimulate your brain and provide helpful ideas to use in the workplace.
Not currently a CANA member? Can’t join us for our Annual Cremation Innovation Convention in New York City, August 16-18? You can still stay engaged with all things cremation. Be sure to register or log in on the CANA website to subscribe to the new blog now.
