Sauder Funeral Products Offers Dome Lid Casket at Entry-level Price

ARCHBOLD, Ohio – Sauder Funeral Products, a wholly owned entity of Sauder Woodworking Co., has introduced the Stockton, a dome lid crossover casket, which can be used for full service cremation as well as burial. Available at an entry-level price, the Stockton offers families a wood casket they can afford.

Unlike many entry-level caskets on the market, the Stockton is a traditional American design with a dome lid and a lift bed.  The Stockton is comparable in price to a base metal casket and upper end cloth covered caskets.

“Our customers asked for a dome lid casket at an affordable price, and we listened,” said Dan Sauder, executive vice president of engineering and new markets for Sauder Woodworking Co. “The funeral industry is changing, and we are constantly evolving our products to meet the needs of families.”

The Stockton is eco-friendly, as well as economical. It’s 99 percent combustible and burns more efficiently than a solid wood casket. The Stockton is built with an environmentally responsible material, one of the many benefits of Sauder’s American-made casket line. All Sauder Funeral Products are made from 97 percent-recycled, soft and hardwood trimmings that remain after the milling of lumber and plywood.

The Stockton’s light Amber Pine finish and affordable price make it a great alternative to rental caskets typically purchased for full service cremations.
