Passages International, Inc., Introduces America’s First Certified “Fair Trade” Coffin
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (January 2016) – Passages International, Inc., announces the availability of their new, one-of-a-kind Six Point Bamboo Coffin. It’s priced perfectly for cremation, where it can easily be positioned between a cloth covered casket and an entry level wood unit. It fills a common void at the $895 – $995 retail price point. The unique, non-traditional appearance, competitive pricing and Fair Trade certification make it an all-round winner for both cremation and burial families.
This elegant coffin features a fully-lined, natural, unbleached cotton interior and pillow, as well as an optional engravable name plaque. The construction contains no metal or plastic components. Passages also makes available a 3/4 sized Viewing Lid which can be used for open casket services, viewings or simple ID prior to burial or cremation.
The Six Point Bamboo Coffin is available in 5’9” and 6’5” sizes, as well as 24” and 36” child sizes. These coffins can be shipped fully assembled or, for a lower price, flat-packed with easy-to-follow assembly instructions. No glue, screws or tools are required and assembly can be completed by one individual in 30 – 45 minutes.
