ASD – Answering Service for Directors Introduces Deep Archive and Search Features

Media, PA—There are many scenarios that require funeral directors to quickly access data from the past. In an effort to help their clients easily locate information, ASD – Answering Service for Directors recently updated the ASD Mobile app and myASD.com website to include an enhanced message archive and search tool.

These added features allow directors to easily find old messages, call recordings and dispatch logs. Directors can look up information by searching for a name, phone number, or any other detail from the call. Clients may also select a date range to easily narrow down their search results, making messages simpler to find than ever.

ASD’s new message search tools provide funeral professionals with an in-depth analysis of their most important calls for better monitoring and tracking. Directors can narrow their search to specific types of calls, such as preneed or price shopping calls. This option allows clients to easily keep track of their most important messages and follow up when necessary.

The new Deep Archive now stores messages for a much greater length of time, allowing ASD clients to access messages up to 5 years old. This includes deleted messages as well as recordings of calls that are directly patched to the funeral home staff or calls made using ASD’s MobileFH feature.  ASD’s enhanced Archive section ensures that directors have an easy-to-locate record of every call handled by ASD within a 5-year period.

Below are just a few scenarios where ASD’s new Deep Archive and Search Tool can help directors manage their funeral home communications:

  • Quickly look up a detail from a First Call handled by ASD for a form or document.
  • Review price shopper and preneed calls with ease and use these call recordings as training tools for the entire staff.
  • Look up the date of a death from several years ago without having to sort through a pile of funeral records.
  • Track all of your pre-need and pricing calls to monitor which employee was notified about the call and determine if any additional follow ups are needed.
  • Narrow your search to First Calls and view the dispatch logs for each call to easily compare employee response times.
  • Locate a cell phone number for someone you haven’t spoke with in years.

Directors can utilize ASD’s new Deep Archive and search features by visiting the Archive section on ASD Mobile for iPhone or myASD.com. The company’s Technology Team is diligently working to update ASD Mobile for Android to include this new enhancement and expects to submit a release in the coming months.

“Many directors have requested enhanced features that allow them to easily locate and categorize their messages. At ASD, we are committed to providing solutions our clients need to monitor their communications,” says ASD Vice President, Kevin Czachor. “Our new search capabilities and Deep Archive provide funeral professionals with a simple tool to easily find, classify and track their messages. Utilizing these advanced features help our clients to stay organized, evaluate staff performance, and follow up on business opportunities.”
