Have the Talk of a LifetimeTM Receives National Recognition

The Funeral and Memorial Information Council (FAMIC) and Springboard Brand & Creative Strategy received a gold award in the 11th Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) competition for the Have the Talk of a LifetimeTM (HTTOAL) campaign. HTTOAL is a national public awareness campaign aimed at motivating families to have conversations about life and what matters most to them.

“We are very honored to receive this recognition,” said Executive Director of FAMIC, Anna Bernfeld.  “We are proud of the important work we are doing to remind consumers that their friends and families have unique life stories, and through ‘talks of a lifetime’ they can experience more meaningful memorializations when the time comes.”

SIAA are the only advertising awards to specifically recognize the achievements of the service industry. A national panel of judges evaluated and rated entries in eight groups and twenty-six categories. This year the SIAA received 1,700 entries. The judges awarded 152 Gold Awards, 111 Silver Awards, as well as 82 Bronze Awards. The SIAA presented FAMIC and Springboard with the gold award for their integrated campaign work.

“It is a great honor to receive this award,” said Rob Rosenberg, President of Springboard, “We’re most appreciative of our clients who allow us to dig deep and create advertising that makes an impact.”
