Gillette made headlines recently for an ad starring Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kate Upton and the gimmick people love to hate: a QR code.

In the funeral profession QR codes were a hot topic late last year as if was found that Making Everlasting Memories (MeM) or should I say SCI has a patent on the specific placement and linking of QR codes from memorial products.

This still hasen’t stopped many funeral profession companies from using QR codes which has lead to a certain funeral profession product making it on the list ‘15 Of The Worst QR Code Fails Of All Time‘.
