Tim Schoettmer Joins ClearPoint as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Batesville, Indiana – April 18, 2017 – ClearPoint Federal Bank & Trust announced that Tim Schoettmer, a seasoned financial executive, has joined the leadership team as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Tim will be responsible for leading the finance, tax, and accounting organizations, as well as, developing strategic financial plans to position the bank for continued growth.

Tim succeeds Dan Wisley, who retired from ClearPoint after serving as CFO for many years. Dan had an accomplished career with over fifteen years dedicated solely to the Death Care Industry.

Prior to joining ClearPoint, Tim served as the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for FCN Bank, N.A. where he was responsible for all financial planning, analysis, business negotiations, regulatory reporting, and developing strategic financial initiatives.

Tim has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Ball State University, and a Master’s degree of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. He obtained his Life Insurance License in 1995.  Schoettmer has additional banking certifications from Vanderbilt University and Stonier Graduate School of Banking.  ClearPoint is honored to be associated with a United States veteran. Tim served in the US Army Reserves from 1984-1991.

Active in the community, Tim serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Southeastern Indiana Voices for Children. He also enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two sons at their family farm.
