Hotel Rooms for NFDA International Convention & Expo Going Fast

image Funeral professionals planning to attend the 2009 National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) International Convention & Expo, October 25-28 in Boston, Mass., who have yet to make their hotel reservations should do so quickly – three of the four NFDA convention hotels have already sold out. Hotel rooms are still available at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, and NFDA recently negotiated an even lower rate of $259 (plus tax) for a single or double room – a savings of $23 per night. Moreover, anyone who already made reservations at the Sheraton Boston Hotel will automatically have their rates adjusted accordingly.

Ideally suited for business or leisure, the Sheraton Boston Hotel is located in the city’s beautiful Back Bay area and is only four miles from Logan International Airport. NFDA has arranged for shuttles to run between this hotel and the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center throughout NFDA’s annual convention for the convenience of guests. Indoor walkways from the hotel immediately connect guests to more than 250 shops in the Prudential & Copley Place, and guests are only one block away from all of the upscale shops, sidewalk cafes and art galleries located on Newbury Street.

Moreover, NFDA still offers its exclusive pricing guarantee: If an attendee finds a lower advertised room rate at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, the hotel will meet that lower rate.

For information on how to make hotel reservations, please visit www.nfda.org/boston2009 and click on the “Hotel/Travel” link on the top of the page.

After making hotel reservations, attendees should also take advantage of early bird pricing by preregistering for NFDA’s convention; early bird prices expire September 28. The registration fees for the 2009 NFDA International Convention and Expo are, in most cases, less than the 2008 registration fees. Attendees should visit www.nfda.org/boston2009 or call an NFDA member services representative at 800-228-6332 to register.

Whatever their role, whatever their challenges, the 2009 NFDA International Convention & Expo is the best place for funeral professionals to boost their knowledge, expand their capabilities, and receive practical advice and guidance they can apply immediately in their funeral home.
