The Foresight Companies Announces New Director of Accounting Services
Phoenix – August 30, 2017 — Today, Daniel Isard, president of The Foresight Companies, the premier financial, accounting and management company serving funeral homes and cemeteries throughout North America, announced the hiring of Mark McGaffin, CPA as their new Director of Accounting Services. “In assuming this position, Mark brings over 30 years of experience in accounting and tax planning to closely held businesses,” stated Dan Isard. “His work will promote and lead our growing Accounting Service business unit to a continued high level of success benefitting our extensive client base and staff”, Isard added.
McGaffin, a New York native, moved to Phoenix in the early 1980’s and has worked with the leading regional accounting firms as a partner. Mark states, “I am very excited to be working in Foresight’s multi-faceted service environment where I can deliver professional and top quality financial and management results to the accounting clients we serve. I look forward to bringing a leading edge to the needs of our clients and direction to our staff.”
Mark McGaffin takes over the role formerly held by Mandy Rohde, CPA. Mandy will continue as the Financial Controller of Foresight. Mandy states, “The needs of Foresight have gotten much more complicated as the company continues to grow. With a growing staff come more complex payroll, billing and accounting needs. I will primarily focus full time on our needs while Mark supervises our accounting staff and client’s needs”. Mandy will provide back-up support for the accounting team and help assimilate the Accounting Service tasks with the data needs of our Business Analysts.
