Physicians Mutual Celebrates Preneed Anniversary with NFDA Sponsorship
OMAHA – It’s been an exciting summer for Physicians Mutual, and the fun keeps on coming: the Company will celebrate its fifth year in the preneed market as sponsors at October’s NFDA International Convention and Expo!
August 2012 marked the beginning of a new era for the Physicians Mutual family, and they’re as committed as ever to offering innovative products, excellent customer service and quickly paid claims. To celebrate, Physicians Mutual will be sponsoring a guessing game at NFDA – be sure to visit booth 2923 at the Boston Convention Center for your chance to win $1,000, courtesy of the NFDA, and to support the Greater Boston Food Bank.
“Entering the preneed market was a big decision for our Company, one we didn’t take lightly,” said Rob Reed, president and CEO. “Our experience has been even better than we could’ve hoped for, and we look forward to a long future in preneed.”
In five short years, Physicians Mutual has introduced Inflation Guard, as well as an indexed product that provides funeral home owners the potential to earn more growth – which is especially important in a low interest rate environment. The Company’s latest innovation is the new Custom Product Series. These products and features were developed based on direct feedback from funeral home owners looking for creative solutions to age-old problems.
“We’re constantly on the lookout for ways to improve upon what’s out there. We’ll continue to look for opportunities to bring more stability and growth to our funeral home partners in the future. Our five-year anniversary is the perfect time to reaffirm our commitment to preneed and let everyone know we’re here to stay. We look forward to visiting with colleagues and customers at this year’s NFDA convention,” said Brice Ballard, vice president of preneed.
Earlier this year the Company announced a new collaboration with Precoa, one of the largest preneed marketing organizations in the country. Now Physicians Mutual products will be available to even more funeral homes and more families. The possibilities with Precoa are endless – five years is truly just the beginning.
