Thacker Announces Edison Casket Company Acquisition
CLINTON, MD – Thacker Caskets is excited to announce that they have completed an acquisition with Edison Casket Company, in Edison, NJ. This marks as Thacker Casket’s fifth acquisition in their pursuit of remaining the largest family owned and operated casket company.
“The Kulesza family has held an admirable reputation of dedication and customer care within the industry, we’re honored to have been considered to carry on their history,” CJ Thacker, President of Thacker Caskets said.
The Kulesza family, fourth-generation owners of Edison Casket Co., have been proudly serving funeral homes in the New Jersey and New York marketplace for over 60 years. Edison’s decision to sell their longstanding company was due to the next generation of family succession in agreeance to pursue careers outside the funeral industry.
“It was imperative we see that our legacy be carried on through a privately-owned family business, such as Thacker,” said Lee Kulesza, President of Edison Casket Co.
Sharing the same values, philosophies and customer care insights, the Kulesza family believes that Thacker Caskets is best aligned to provide funeral homes with multiple solutions for today’s industry challenges.
“From iArrange which allows funeral homes to customize digital showrooms, and our Remembrance Line merchandising program, which features a comprehensive line of cremation products, to providing consultative and custom marketing programs, we are constantly striving to provide funeral homes with the most innovative services in the market/.,” Thacker noted.
Since 1939 Thacker has been committed to providing funeral homes with high-quality products at impeccable value and remains dedicated to ensuring the same service of excellence, Edison’s customers expect today.
