The Signature Group Acquires Ott & Lee Funeral Homes
The Signature Group announced today that it has acquired Ott & Lee Funeral Homes from the Lee family. Ott & Lee consists of four funeral homes in the greater Jackson, Mississippi area, including Brandon, Morton, Forest and Richland. During its 82-year history, Ott & Lee grew to become one of the largest independent funeral home operations in the State of Mississippi.
J. Bradley Green, co-founder of The Signature Group, stated “The acquisition of Ott & Lee is an expansion into a new market for our company. It is also consistent with our goal of only partnering with the absolute best funeral homes in any market. Having the patience to only acquire elite funeral homes takes discipline and time, but as indicated by this acquisition, it is worth the wait.”

Hugh Strebeck, General Manager and an owner of Ott and Lee, stated, “When evaluating our available options, the decision to partner with the Signature Group was obvious. They are a privately held company with the same focus on operations and serving families as Ott & Lee. As a group, we are extremely excited about this new chapter.”
