Funeral Directors Life and Passare Announce New Preneed Integration Feature
Funeral Directors Life and Passare, Inc. recently released the funeral industry’s only automated integration between a preneed company and an at-need funeral administration system.
As new preneed policies are issued, clients of Funeral Directors Life and Passare will automatically have preneed cases added to their Passare collaboration and case management platform. Preneed case data includes vital statistics such as name, gender, date of birth, family and friends, and contact information. A link back Funeral Directors Life’s Online Access platform will also appear in each preneed case added in Passare’s system. This link provides access to information related to the preneed contract. In addition, Funeral Directors Life’s client funeral homes who are Passare subscribers can receive an auto-import of all historical active preneed funeral cases into Passare.
“We are excited to offer the only integration between a preneed insurance company and an at-need administration system for the preneed funeral profession,” said Funeral Directors Life President and CEO Kris Seale. “This development is part of a larger strategy to help funeral directors serve families better through technology and innovation, and it’s a major step forward for the funeral profession.”
“This integration with Funeral Directors Life is one way we are helping our clients connect, communicate and collaborate more effectively with families,” said Jay Thomas, CEO of Passare, Inc. “We are helping funeral home staff eliminate double entry of preneed case data, which improves accuracy and saves time and labor. It also helps funeral professionals quickly and easily reference a preneed case for a family, all from one convenient platform at any time, from any Internet-connected device. This is a major win for our clients at Passare and for the industry as a whole.”
