Memorial Stores Launches E-Commerce Solution For Funeral Homes

Tyler Fraser, CEO of Memorial Stores LLC, has announced the launch of a new platform to sell these items on funeral home websites: cremation urns, caskets, final expense, headstones, stationery, photo blankets and flowers.

The website allows the family to view products on a desktop, iPad or smartphone, and see retail prices and checkout completely with a credit card.

Memorial Stores has taken over the 200 funeral home clients that currently use the UPD Urns Store, from UPD Urns, and added many new offerings. The company has partnered with several vendors to fill the orders that come through the funeral home website.

“We sold more in two weeks with UPD Urns and our Urn Store, than we had with our previous provider in two months,” said Oliver Yeo, owner of SoCal Cremations and Valley of Peace Cremations & Burial Services in Van Nuys, CA.

Memorial Stores provides a licensed insurance agent in every state, so when a lead comes in for final expense, an agent can close the sale for the funeral home.

“We’ve worked long and hard to put together relationships for all the things a funeral home needs to sell. And we are excited to continue to partner with website providers to enhance the funeral home’s offerings on the web. For most items on Memorial Stores, we collect payments from the family and at the end of the month the funeral home receives a report and a check at the end of the month; in addition to receiving an email anytime an order goes through,” Tyler Fraser commented inside his new Sterling, VA office.

Scott Berding of Memories of Loved One, Memorial Stores stationery provider, said, “We are very excited to be a small part of the overall solution provided by Tyler’s new venture.”

Memorial Stores LLC is pioneering ecommerce solutions for funeral service providers. The business was founded in 2016 and was started with an offering from UPD Urns called the UPD Urn Store. Alongside urns, Memorial Stores offers: caskets, flowers, stationery, final expense, headstones and Living Reef Memorials.
