2017 ICCFA Annual Convention & Expo to Relocate
In light of the current legislative controversy in the state of North Carolina, the City of Charlotte contacted the ICCFA with an offer to reschedule the ICCFA Annual Convention & Expo from 2017 to 2019. The Charlotte Convention Center understands that there is a potential adverse impact on attendance for the 2017 convention due to the controversy. As a result, the ICCFA leadership has accepted the guidance of the City and is rescheduling its convention and trade show to 2019 in Charlotte. The Association is reviewing a number of meeting destinations for the 2017 Annual Convention & Expo.
Commenting on the change in venue for the 2017 convention, ICCFA President Michael R. Uselton, CCFE, observed, “I see this move as a win/win situation for everyone. We appreciate the concern the City of Charlotte has shown regarding the importance for the ICCFA to have the most successful meeting and trade show possible. We look forward to holding our 2019 Convention in Charlotte. We will announce our new city for 2017 as soon as we have secured it.”
