Pierce Chemical And Post Mortem Restorative Cosmetics Offer New Technology Developed By Renowned Hollywood Makeup Artist

BROADVIEW, IL, February 9, 2016 – Pierce Chemical has teamed up with Post Mortem Restorative Cosmetics (PMRC) to offer cutting-edge cosmetics for normal and traumatized deceased human tissue.  Developed by Emmy Award-winning Hollywood makeup artist Dean Jones (Star Trek, Pirates of the Caribbean, X-Men), the innovative materials and techniques will help embalmers simplify facial restoration and cosmetic application, therefore improving the viewing experience for families.

These products have been specially formulated to enable the embalmer to restore injuries with extremely stable products highly resistant to touching or manipulation during the viewing process.

Vernie Fountain of Fountain National Academy of Professional Embalming Skills, Springfield, Missouri, helped develop the PMRC product line.  Nationally-recognized throughout the industry for his leadership in embalming techniques, Fountain said, “I am proud to put my signature on the PMRC label.  There is a better way and I have found it with PMRC products and techniques.”

Pierce Chemical is also proud to offer the PMRC line as a complement to its current cosmetic product line.  Lance Ray, COO and Executive Vice-President of Pierce, remarked, “Embalmers working with trauma cases are often challenged to achieve more acceptable and identifiable appearances.  The PMRC products and techniques provide new solutions to these unique challenges.”

With this partnership, Pierce is the exclusive distributor of PMRC products in the United States, Canada and Mexico and will be helping their customers understand the benefits and applications of these innovative cosmetics.  For more information, contact Pierce at 800.527.6419.
